SDRC Varsity Summer Training

Our varsity summer training program offers experienced, competitive rowers an opportunity to build skill and fitness in preparation for the following season. We offer 8 weeks of training with a mix of on-the-water practices and land conditioning. Our summer training is open to any rower (from SDRC or other clubs) that has at least 1 year of competitive, racing experience.

Since athletes have busy summer schedules, we offer practices in week-long blocks, and you can choose as many weeks as work for your schedule. Each week has 8 practices available, and the cost is $125 per week which can be paid by cash or check at the first practice of the week. The 2023 summer schedule is below. Generally speaking, morning practices will be on the water and afternoon practices will be land conditioning.
