SDRC Summer Camps

Our summer Learn to Row Camps are a great opportunity to get out on the water and learn about a new sport. Each camp is a week long and covers all the basics of the sport and allows new rowers to get a feel for the water! No previous experience is necessary and new rowers will start off in single person boats as they learn the basics.

After completing a Learn to Row Camp, we also have our Intermediate Camps available to help interested rowers build on their basic skills in preparation for joining the Junior team during the school year. Intermediate Camps will allow new rowers to learn more advanced technique and also get out on the water in different kinds of boats. Intermediate Camps are also a week long and rowers can attend as many sessions of Intermediate Camp as they want!

Camps are open to rowers in grades 6-12 and each session will be divided by grade level.
